Get The Running Time Right FFS!

Not sure where the rant forum is these days, so I decided to post this small but very annoying rant here.

ver since I was a small kid, I have always taken note of the running time of movies. I don't know why, I just have. And I still do. I find it highly irritating when the movie sites like IMDB have no fucking clue as to the actual running time of a movie. Over the last 13 years that I have been a member there, I have seen this all the time. And not just there. Everywhere.

Example of this. Today I was going to see 300: Rise Of An Empire at my local Imax cinema. Don't they fucking know how long the damned film runs for? Check it out here

2D 300 Rise Of An Empire
Running Time: 115 mins

http://www.cineplex.com.au/sessions-SB.php

3D 300: Rise Of An Empire
Running Time: 120 mins

Another example:

Wolf Creek 2
Running Time: 120 mins

With Wolf Creek 2 you click the more info tab it says...
Running Time: 104 min. And it doesn't mean taking into consideration all of the ads etc.

http://www.cineplex.com.au/movie/2338/

Also when I rent movies it never ever has the correct running time on the box. It always conflicts with the running time printed on the actual disc.

Wtf? It's annoying.

I too take note of the running time, so having an accurate reading is crucial to me.

Only when it's a film I'm looking forward to will I investigate the running time, I'm hoping Days of Future Past will be long. As for people not knowing the information, hell that sucks, but if you ever come into my theater we'll have the running time for you, including preview times.
