QT IS TOPS IN MY BOOK
If only half of Hollywood had 10% of the love and passion this guy has for movies, no one would be complaining about Hollywood anymore. Who cares if the guy is off the beaten path. Instead, be thankful! |

I am convinced that QT is at least borderline autistic. No doubt in my mind. |

Some people are to busy judging looks instead of talent in movie making. I say f%#k all of the negative, yet rightful opinions, politics and try to understand and enjoy the movie! |

McJ, thanks for that. I didn't read Kneibe's original article, but reading this one, I wasn't convinced that the quote from Kneibe actually was negative towards QT at all. Especially when, before the quote it said, "[Kneibe] loved the script." So, what makes anyone think that this excerpt was anti-QT? I don't get it.
Anyway, since so many here have posted their feelings on this movie and Tarantino, I will too: In my opinion, Tarantino is awesome; his movies are far more interesting than most of what Hollywood keeps churning out. His movies have style; how can you not see that? Every one has been totally entertaining, and I expect this movie to be great as well.
Honestly, I don't understand where all this disrespect and dislike of the man has come from. One minute everybody loves him; then everybody hates him... and for what reason, I have no idea. Lemming Syndrome, I suspect. |

LOOKING AT THAT PICTURE ...
QT seems to let loose on booze. he looks like Igor or some extra on a horror movie (wait ... he WAS an extra). well, they can save on make up costs .. haha)
anyway, really no interest in QT 's movies now. pulp fiction and res dogs were good. but his following movies tend to be underwhelming and well ... just missed their mark.
seems to remind me of M. Shamayalan's movie resume' |

why does everyone suddenly go all over-fuckin-reaction over ONE article in a german newspaper that's already 2 weeks old. screw that. german movie goers love QT, it's like the country after france and the US where he sells most of his DVDs... screw the fucking critics. and hey, I'm German! |

I just read the original article in the Sueddeutsche Zeitung and i have to say the quotation above is simply a typical example of bad citation (= pick two paragraphs out of a 24 paragraph text, put them in the false order together, replace essential parts of the text with three dots). In fact the whole article is pretty neutral if not pro Tarantino and the author is actually making fun of the mentioned historians and critics. Please... to avoid misunderstandings, quote correctly. |

OMFG
I haven't laughed this hard since I saw Tropic Thunder - brills baby! I can picture Q riding in on Knute - the infamous polar bear - into Kniebe's office. And oh! Please have that polar bear wearing Samuel Jackson's hair from Pulp Fiction.... can't breathe.... too funny..... |
