In order to make a movie like He-Man watchable to a person that actually remembers the cartoon who's probably in their mid to late twenties, you'd have to make loads of changes. As cool as He-Man was when I was 6 years old I'm not excited at all for this movie. Looks like an uphill battle to make this movie cool. Wouldn't it just be easier to have a similair project by a different name, leaving out all the cheesy stuff that defines He-Man. I say to the burn pile with this idea. |

COULD BE GOOD
I grew up on the cartoon, loved the movie with Dolph when it came out so I am down for another. Then again if it is cast full of these teen beat young actors I wont be watching. |

After seeing the fantasy elements of “Pan’s Labyrinth” I think the characters like Merman, Beastman and Stinkor could potentially look amazing. Hell, get del Toro to direct it and I’ll be the first one in line to watch the damn thing. |

I was a huge He-Man fan when I was a kid. Be that as it may, I don't think it's going to make for a good film. Although, stranger things have happened. Who knows, if they find the right people and the right compromise between the original presentation & making it fit modern sensibilities - Maybe they could get it to work. Still, every instinct of mine tells me that the He-Man series wasn't really meant for a live action translation. |

I love how this guy is so wishy-washy with nostaligia remakes. One minute he loves the idea and months from now when it DOES go into production he's going to be like , "This is the worst idea ever. How DARE they ruin a chunk of my memory!" |

OH MY GOD
I would LOVE a Thundercats movie.
Kurt Russel - Liono
Angelia Jolie - Cheetara
Michael Clarke Duncan - Panthro
Brad Pitt - Tygra
Jaga - Patrick Stewart (as Alec Guiness is dead)
Mumm-Ra - Gary Oldman

SPEAKING OF WHICH...
...I'd much rather see a movie version of Thunder-Cats than I would He-Man. Yeah, Mum-Ra was kind of a lame villain, but I remember TC's having more action than He-Man. Plus it's a chance for super sexy cat-women in skimpy outfits, and everyone wins with that scenario! |

I was pointing out if they can do LOTR with all of those special CGI they can do he-man.
But People just like to Bash online so go nuts.
By the POWER OF GREYSKULL.
And they dont need cgi for the characters. |

How do you even make this look good on screen without it looking like they are aiming it at the gay community? I never liked the cartoon to begin with. I'll be skipping this. |
