"Hellboy" cinematic overlord and JoBlo.com director fave Guillermo Del Toro recently stopped by the "Del Toro Films" messageboards and dropped some news on casting for the upcoming sequel THE GOLDEN ARMY. Says the lovably foul-mouthed director:
John Hurt is back for a cameo. Myers is not back (see Rupie in KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN in the London stage!!). Universal has NOT authorized a brief Kroenen cameo/epilogue- yet. Johann will be played by John Alexander (body) and Tomas Kretschmann (voice).
Dougie will play 4 characters. Brian Steele will play 4 characters. Anna Walton is the actress playing Princess Nuala. Luke Goss plays Prince Nuada. Silverlance. Roy Dotrice plays King Balor.
Hellboy will attempt to thwart a mythical creature invasion on August 1st.

There's also three animated HELLBOY films - SWORD OF STORMS was released in October 2006, BLOOD AND IRON was released in March of this year and THE PHANTOM CLAW will be released in 2008.
