I thought I'd share my appreciation for a foxy redhead who always keeps her head up with a smile on. It might be that I can't shake the whole cheerful, "fairy tale princess" mask she wore for ENCHANTED when I think of Amy Adams, but I think it's more likely she doesn't wear a mask, she's just that cheerful, like Mary Tyler Moore. I caught CRUEL INTENTIONS 2 the other day, and I thought it'd be awful (and to an extent it was), but there's something really enticing about watching this good girl go bad. And to think, that was before ENCHANTED and NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE WHO CARES. I actually enjoy these spur-of-the-moment, disorganized candids when they go well. I think Amy Adams is a sweetheart, signing random autographs, lugging around her own huge backpack, and looking extremely beautiful in such a humid part of the country. I'm "super" interested to see how she does as Lois Lane in MAN OF STEEL, although she seems simply natural for the part. Now we just need to convince her to be Red Sonja.
