I've overhearing some great dialog in the background from a show I never thought would have anything funny to say. Because I'm from California, perhaps this is only funny to me, but the line on that Family Channel show, "Bunheads" just had two characters complaining about wanting to get out of the small town they're in, comparing it to hell. Another teen responds that they're already in hell and the only way it could get worse is if they were in Carpenteria. If you know Cali, you're snorting with laughter like I did. If not, just forget about it.
Amy Adams went to see David Letterman again because she's promoting her role in Paul Thomas Anderson's flick, THE MASTER, which is a thinly veiled mocking of the Church of Scientology. Being that Amy was raised Mormon herself, somehow it felt as if the above quote was fitting for the comparison. Adams opened up to Dave, commenting that,
"I definitely did see, growing up, a lot of women that were meant to be quiet and pleasant, and if you had something mean to say it's probably best to keep a journal..." I wonder what they think about their wimmens bloggin'.
