Rather gratuitous how many sideline events were doing their best to cash in on the hype surrounding the Super Bowl. First you got your NFL Honors event, where they give prizes to all the players who weren't quite good enough to make it to a Super Bowl but still did okay in the regular season. Then there was the in no way provocatively-named Leather & Laces event and all the other various corporately sponsored things looking to claim a slice of the media hype pie for themselves. It's next to impossible to keep track of them all, so I wont even bother. I'll simply take note of how many of these things drew the supermodels like Adriana Lima, Nina Agdal, Bar Refaeli and Emily Ratajkowski here. Most of them are from countries that couldn't give a flying f*ck about American football.
That's the scent of rich and powerful men drawing the models like moths to porch lights I think. They do love those kinds of guys. Don't think it's limited to the players either. If you know anything of football, you know how much bank those owners have. We're talking serious billionaires up in those luxury boxes. Models just can't get enough of that shit. Fascinating how that works. Put a good-looking broke guy and a rich fat guy before them and most would go for the fat guy in a second. Then bang the good-looking guy while he was away. Damn, they got a great racket going, don't they?
