There was a rather funny situation at the premiere of MOVIE 43 which, if you didn't know, is the story of some kids' search for the most banned movie ever. It also happens to star pretty much everyone alive in Hollywood right now (seriously, look at this list of the cast), which proves that you can get anyone in your movie provided you throw enough money at them. You'd think then that a movie with everyone in it would have one massively star-studded premiere. Well you'd be wrong about that. While it does have a ton of big names in it, none of them have shown much of an interest in doing any promotion for it, which makes it the movie equivalent of the abandoned kid at the firehouse. So what is a studio setting up a premiere to do with such a situation? Simple, grab a bunch of attention junkies, like Audrina Patridge, who will show up anywhere there are cameras flashing and a red carpet to stand on, and populate your premiere with them. Also, erect a large backdrop full of stills from the movie, featuring some of the big names from the film and have all those stills appear to taunt the nobodies who showed up for their movie's premiere. Meh, at least Audrina looked hot for the occasion. She might not do much to deserve her fame, but at least she never fails to look good doing nothing.
