It's a bit of a misleading statement for Audrina Patridge to make in the latest issue of vowel-phobic Stndrd magazine, for according to IMDB she was indeed her character on The Hills. Whatever the case, I knew there had to be a reason for my complete bewilderment as to how Audrina managed to get famous. Finding out her biggest claim to fame is being a member on the mercifully defunct "reality" TV show The Hills makes much more sense. I used to know a girl who watched it religiously back in the day. I don't know how she did it, for after watching one episode I found myself content to never waste another second of my life on such miserable pile of crap. That show's only redeeming feature was that it's profound awfulness essentially obliterated the careers of most of its more annoying celebs before they could do any more damage to society as we know it. I don't remember if the one episode I watched had much of Audrina in it, though I assume not as she at least could have provided some decent eye candy to calm the onrush of bile from my gut. If she somehow becomes the lone survivor of that TV travesty, I'd be okay with it. She might be just as culpable in inflicting such a terrible show on the masses, but she's hot and hotness goes a long way to healing wounds.
