Ba-ba-ba-booger Face!

May. 27, 2009by: Cherry Liquor

Poll for today: How many people actually read Rolling Stone magazine anymore? How many of you think that they seriously need to reconsider this image which has now permanently damaged my retinas? I understand that Lady Gaga is popular for the shitty pop music that she puts out, the kind which you know is being manufactured with some hidden meaning laced throughout beats which drill into your gray matter until we all end up idiots and Carl's Jr gets to take possession of our children. I'd much rather listen to Kelly Clarkson, someone who can actually sing (even when it's similar stupid pop stuff) than have this chick be around for even her fourteenth minute of fame.

I really thought that was Christina Aguilera on the cover until I started reading. Lady Gaga looks just like her, at least in this picture. I haven't really seen any other pictures of her so I don't know if she always looks like Christina Aguilera or she just does here. It could just be that hair that's doing it though.

Rolling Stone is just ads, ads and more ads. Wedged in there is some celebrity gossip, a controversial political article, and an interview with a random pop culture figure. Its like 8 bucks for that...no thanks.

Dead...I Say Dead...

Music in this country (USA) is dead. It's a proven fact, music reached it's pinnacle around 1974. It was in all the papers.

As for RS, it's been dead for several years as well. I use to love RS back in the 70s and 80s, but after that...yech! Hey, when Rock & Roll died does it's hangers on and leeches die too?!

I honestly dont know which is worse...Rolling Stone, which is an absolute joke when it comes to reviewing MUSIC! or Lady Gaga, who my girlfriend listens to quite a bit. I've heard Poker Face way more than I should have. I'm kinda ashamed that her and I differ so vastly in musical tastes. She cant get enough of the "materialistic nonsense over manufactured beats" junk. Whatevs.

Terrible photo though. Blech.

God knows what kids are listening to these days. I could never understand the appeal of all these dolled-up whores singing about materialistic nonsense over manufactured beats.

My 55 year old MOTHER loves her. I think her and her little tea cups are annoying and overrated!

This cover is terrible & I don't know of many people that read Rolling Stone anymore.
I second the Kelly Clarkson comment.
