James Gunn is planning on having some fun with the superhero genre when he attacks using Rainn Wilson in this week's SUPER. It's bound to be angst & anxiety clothed in spandex, what with Ellen Page in the cast as well, but I thought I would take it a little more seriously. As in, I seriously love these women in their tight superchick garb.

Charlize Theron

After an Oscar win, it's best to put on a tight outfit and have audiences concentrate on you being a babe again (Natalie Portman is following this rule well by getting into medieval superchick garb next week in YOUR HIGHNESS), which is what Charlize Theron did when she dyed & cut those golden tresses into a sleek black bob and slithered into a tight black cat suit to play AEON FLUX. I never have bothered to watch this movie. The stills are enough for me to know Theron is as hot as she's ever been in it.

Jennifer Garner

Because I'm not a comic book geek and I did harbor a Ben Affleck crush at one point (stfu, you know most of you dudes did too, during the JLo years), I happen to like DAREDEVIL. I happened to LOVE Jennifer Garner in those tight leather and whatnot outfits that she donned as Elektra, both in Ben's superhero outing and her critically panned box-office flop spin-off. She was that buff superchick who looked like she could kick your ass without the assistance of CGI. Yumm-O.

Scarlett Johansson

I could be adding ScarJo just because she's ScarJo and happened to score a role in the popular IRON MAN flicks as the scrumptious Black Widow, but here's the deal: I expected her to suck in the role. I thought she was surely just eye candy and it wouldn't have mattered to Favs if she could carry off the badass attitude to go with her super couture. But I liked her as Black Widow. I liked her a lot. And of course, it didn't hurt that she was extra-fine eye candy as well.

Which superchick is your personal kryptonite?

Extra Tidbit: When women suck, you all come running. Not to the theaters, seeing as how WIMPY KID beat out SUCKER PUNCH in ticket returns, but for the three lollilovies I featured in last week's battle. It was Emmy Rossum by a hair, getting 42% of the vote to Katy Perry's very close 40%. Rashida Jones isn't a sour tasting sweetie, licking up the remaining 18%.

Not only is she the hottest here (not to mention Im pretty sure Black Widow was a lot of cgi hotness), but Charlize has the craziest history of any of them. She watched her mom kill her dad and she taught herself english by watching cartoons.

For me this is a 2 girl battle, Garner just doesn't do it as much for me. Scarlett looked as good as she has in awhile, but Charlize just fills out that suit better than most could!

Oh boy. All these movies blew chunks in the theaters so they are all on even footing in their movie roles. Jenny's always been my fav so she gets my vote, Chalize will always be okay in my book & Scarlett as good looking as she is, in my opinion, is over-rated.
