With Katharine McPhee debuting on the big screen in this weekend's THE HOUSE BUNNY after starting her "career" in the singing vein, not to mention THE ROCKER coming out this week as well, with the hot Emma Stone as an actress who plays a musician, I thought we could battle this week with some younger women who have worn both tiaras. I know you were really hoping for a Madonna v Tina Turner v Janet Jackson Battle, but I'm just not feeling it today. Oh, and I'm pretty certain without even counting the votes that Carla Gugino
won last week's battle without breaking a sweat.
Ah, Alanis. Without you singing about Uncle Dumbf*ck, spurring a generation of women to scream at their exes before texting was invented, what else would Coulier have to talk about these days? Kevin Smith saw something special in you, believing you could pull of the role of all roles - god. Granted, he made the role easier by not giving you any lines to f*ck up, but he also didn't count on you going on to a tongue kiss with SJP on "Sex & the City." I don't know if anyone's forgiven you for that yet.
Mandy Moore. Hmm... never a rocker and never really a break-out pop singer either. In fact, other than being tall and gorgeous, Mandy Moore hasn't sunken her teeth too deeply into anything she's taken a bite out of. I think I'll call her The Nibbler. Aside from AMERICAN DREAMZ, Moore mainly is a bland presence in film and I can't for the life of me think of a name of one of her songs. Still... woman sure is fine.
I'd read some bitchy celeb blog somewhere which referred to Stone as "Miss F*cks for Tracks." Not sure what that meant and to be honest, I've never listened to any of her music. I've just seen pictures of her attending The Grammies and been told that she's talented. OK, I can dig it. She's also done a couple of turns onscreen, starting with 2006's ERAGON and then moving on to two movies set for release, SNAPPERS and SLIGHTLY SINGLE IN LA. All that, and she can work a bikini with the best of them.
Who's your choice of hottest Goes "Both" Ways?
