Seems, as MovieSamurai put it, the majority of you were loving on
Mandy Moore for last week's battle. Now that the Olympics are over and we're gearing up for a fall season of what can only be crap piled upon crap on television and in the theaters, how about we take a gander at the chicks who have played sports on the big screen?
Missy Peregrym

OK, so when I look at her last name with a quick glance, all I can really think of is "perineum." (As a by and by, don't google that within the images section. You'll be sorry.) But on a lighter note, Missy is a hot, hot chick who starred in 2006's STICK IT, one of the only tween-centric movies that I don't mind watching even with all of the predictable "I sound smarter than most adults" adolescent banter. She's currently starring on a show called "Reaper," (which I hadn't heard of until I looked her up, so if anyone has any info on it, please dispense with it) and when you google
her name, nothing but pleasantries in the image department pop up.
Michelle Rodriguez

Michelle, Michelle, Michelle... you're the baddest bitch in movies that I would cower in fear from rather than ask for an autograph. Starting out in the cool indie drama GIRL FIGHT, about a female boxer, Michelle got everyone's attention for being athletic first and sexy second. (I have always loved her scene with Vin Diesel in TF&TF.) Now notably known for her DUI while filming on the show "Lost" (which she's supposed to come back on this fall, but no spoilers on why that's weird in case there are people who don't watch the show), Michelle also finds herself plagued with lesbian rumours. Like that would matter when it came down to hotness.
Carly Schroeder

In a movie based on former BotB winner Elizabeth Shue, Carly Schroeder plays the lead in GRACIE, showcasing her ability to be an actual athlete (the producers searched for an actress who was already a regular at the sport of soccer) as well as one of those so cute and perky chicks that they're secretly hotter than the hot girls. Next up for Carly is the horror film FORGET ME NOT and later the drama PRAYERS FOR BOBBY, which will put her beside Sigourney Weaver. Potential abounds for this chick.
Who's your favorite film athlete female?
Missy by a mile
Missy... barely...
BLAH
But she looks pretty smokin so something tells me I would have picked her anyways.

i'm not really for any of them

based on nothing but looks, I'll go with Missy, but that's a default position.
