I'm going to check out MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL for Jeremy Renner, let's just get that out of the way first. I love Renner. LOVE him. I also think that it ties into the ad campaign being smart enough to use Eminem's "Won't Back Down," in which Pink is the guest background singer. Renner was in Pink's "Trouble" video. That's how much my mind revolves around him. But I took a couple minutes off to find that Cruise seems to enjoy casting ethnic babes in his M:I flicks, which is super cool in a whole other way. So let's battle them out, shall we?
The third annual Edgar Wright film festival being held at the New Beverly over this past week of December has featured classic movies that Edgar himself has never seen. I refuse to call M:I III a classic, but I haven't seen it, so I don't know how important Maggie's character was in it. I just know that I loved her in LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD and pretty much every time she is portrayed as a badass. Asian chicks kicking butt? Seems only natural in this world.
I love Patton, even though I don't consider her to be one of the strongest actresses that I've seen. She's gorgeous to look at and has this "real" feel to her whenever I see the candids or red carpet pics of her. I'm glad that she's the eye candy in the latest Ethan Hunt caper. But let's get someone on making sure she doesn't go near Ethan Hawke because that smells like trouble without getting to a self-exploding message.
I know I watched the first couple of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE movies and I know that at some point Newton is poked with a deadly virus or some such nonsense. I think I might have even liked the movie at the time. I know I saw it in the theaters, probably close to the weekend it was released. I see so many movies that a great deal of them end up a blur. Thandie was the only thing I could vividly remember about the movie. Not sure if your opinion on that factor is a good or a bad thing.
Which of these babes would you like to make the impossible possible with?
