It's been a paltry lot at the cinema for me these past couple of months. I really haven't had that strong of a desire to see anything that was getting released and it sucks going to see something that you're only slightly amused over. Sorta like how SILENT HOUSE looks cool because of its star and the real-time aspect but wondering how good it is if they're remaking it from a Spanish language version that only came out a couple years ago. Oh well. Something to do a battle about, I guess.

I love me some Elizabeth Olsen. I've recently developed a bit of a girl-crush on her after watching her nail her last couple of movies but I'm not sure if I want to see her scream and cry and get chased around in a house. I'm a little over ghost stories, if I ever was into them in the first place. Funny, actually, when you think about the other movies these other babes were in.
Emily Browning
Emily Browning is a darling and if there ever was an Asian horror remake that was done surprisingly well, it was THE UNINVITED, the American take on A TALE OF TWO SISTERS (which is as creepy as I can manage to get creeped out by a lurking ghost story). Funny little pixie face that she has, making it difficult to see the years that she's gained since first appearing on screen as a child actress.
Sarah Michelle Gellar
THE GRUDGE is high up on the lists of many of the females I know, none of which have watched the original. Neither have I, as I was so turned off by the English speaking incarnation. Sarah Michelle Gellar, best known for being our favorite vampire slayer (where is she with all these TWILIGHT kids running around?) might not always be the best actress (please be honest - she got her roots in soap opera and she's always teetering on the melodramatic in everything she does) but definitely is an everlasting hottie.
