Last week, Sophie Marceau
was the easy to pick winner in the Bond Bunch. While I sit around, wondering if Joss Whedon is ever going to get off his ass and complete what he needs to in order for "Dollhouse" to hit the small screen in a hopefully unsucky way, how about we look back to the three most memorable babes from his first hit show, "Buffy"?
Sarah Michelle Gellar
Yes, I know that she's adopted her husband's last name officially now (I dig the chick for being realistic about her Hollywood marriage and only promising him that she'd change it after
their 5 year anniversary. Are you hyphenators listening out there? Blonde, petite and yet ass-kicking in her run on the cheerleader versus the undead series, Gellar has been widely regarded as one of the best blonde babes on television.
I blame Alyson for one fifth of the stupid names coming from a certain Alaskan family, being that her Willow wasn't the babe on set but rather the brains. Overlooked for most of the series as babe material up until she became a lesbo witch, Hannigan is more popularly remembered as being the band geek who liked to store her instrument in a very special place in the AMERICAN PIE franchise.
You know, I've never really understood the hype about Dushku. When I was watching the original run of "Buffy" back when she came onto it as Faith, she annoyed the crap out of me. So her following career moved me more to repulsion rather than interest. I'm willing to watch her in "Dollhouse" because I happen to think that Whedon is an underappreciated genius (and by that, I'm not saying that the fans don't recognize him, I'm saying that most of the brazen, brave shit that he wants to pull off, none of the studios will approve) and I will openly admit that she's pulling down the brunette hotness thing.
Which OG "Buffy" girl is your fave?
