Seems our awesome writer Chris Bumbray got stuck with the honor of reviewing TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 2. Some are sympathizing with him. Twihards are most likely stalking his house, waiting to bean him over the head with a glitter splattered "Team Edward" placard. Reviewing a movie with 2012's highest paid actress shouldn't be the life-endangering experience that C.B. has to fear. As for the other two ladies on the list, why don't we access their looks instead of their movies or their bank accounts this week. Chris, your Get Well cards are on their way.
KStew might want to watch her back for Cameron Diaz when it comes to her personal safety. Aside from the TwiHards who have come down on her in the last year for supposedly cheating on TWILIGHT co-star, Robert Pattinson, the more frightening gap is the half million dollars that separates Diaz from Stewart in taking the top spot for highest paid actress of 2012. Diaz earned 34 million between 2011-2012 (tallies are always compiled from a portion of the previous year and considered to be income if the movie is released the following year). Is she still worth it? Hell, I can't even make that argument, seeing as how I don't consider her to be tremendously talented. But then again, neither is Channing Tatum and he still out-earns REAL actors like Sam Rockwell, so eff it.
Between the 2 parter BREAKING DAWN experience, her role in the box office strong SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN and her involvement in the indie, ON THE ROAD (I've heard whispers that Stewart wanted to work on the project so badly, she accepted the SAG rate which is $268 per day on a low budget movie and $933 for a 5-day work week), Kristen Stewart is currently the highest paid actress in Hollywood, haveing taken home $34.5 million between May 2011 and May 2012. This could rapidly change after the sparkly vampire series has drawn to a conclusion, but let me just say... I'll watch what she does. I like her. It's not a popular opinion, but it's mine and I f*cking own up to it.
With nearly $10 million dollars less for the same time period as the other top two actress earners, it might be a bit of surprise to see that Sandra Bullock still pulled in $25 million in that same May 2011-May 2012 period. THE BLIND SIDE gave her an Oscar and some better earning clout, only to be thwarted by Bullock's (always inexplicable to me) marriage to Jesse James falling apart so salaciously in the public's eye. Still, Bullock is a champion who has been smart about the roles she's taken on since divorce and motherhood came her way. Seems like she might have the highest likelihood of appearing in the top 3 top earners next year as well.
