While Lucy Liu only bested her Cuoco rival by one vote a couple weeks back, last week it was a near total landslide for Jenna Fischer as she grabbed up over 20 votes to her other NBC rival hotties paltry handful. Now it's time to focus on the last of the three most established networks: ABC! Will it be easy as 123?
Emily VanCamp is still a relatively new name in the movie and television business but when you factor that into her being cast as the lead in "Revenge" and then how the show took off like wildfire, you've got to give the girl credit where it's due. She's a complete babe, with a beautiful face, sensational body and after I caught a couple of the implausible episodes of the show, I must say, she's a more than decent actress. But how is she going to hold up against...
Stana Katic gets a lot of attention for one reason alone - the voracious fans of Nathan Fillion who will follow him to whatever show he does since they stupidly forgot to tune-in in droves for "Firefly" and will castigate themselves for the remainder of the geek lives. "Castle" is definitely Fillion's show and Katic is definitely playing a cookie-cutter cop character, but when you take her off the show and see her on a red carpet? Damn. Still, there's the ABC powerhouse....
"Modern Family," just would not be the show that it is without Vergara. There is no possible way that a show filled full of self-centered, neurotic asswipes would have been nearly as motivating to watch without Sofia tearing up her scenes as the feisty Colombian second wife to
Al Bundy Jay Pritchett. I think it was in season two when Jay explains what he put up with in life to get through his first marriage in order to have his kids grow up with a complete family. Then how the universe rewarded him for that honor and loyalty to family by gifting him with Sofia. What a present indeed.
