In a nutshell, my life has been a little nutty this past week. For details that I can't get into lest they cause me to incur criminal charges, let's just say that it's been one of those weeks that you have in life where things are on a bipolar scale, either they're intensely good or they severely f*ck with you. So I decided that I would focus on a few of the women that I think have played crazy hotties over the course of their careers. Battle of the Bonkers. Ha.
Debi Mazar
My weakness is a chick with naturally dark hair and light blue eyes. Or green. Anything that gives that extraordinary contrast. But I also love a chick who looks like when she isn't talking you to death she could kick your ass, even if she weighs half what you do soaking wet. And perhaps I'm the only person in the world, but that wonky New Yorker accent gets on my nerves in the right way. I only thought of Mazar recently after watching an episode of "L&O:SVU" that she was on, but it brought back up all my fond memories of the wackjobs that she plays so well.
Laura San Giacomo
I did that Giacomo looks fairly normal and that she's the kind of crazy that comes along with probably being too smart for her own good. I hated her character in SEX, LIES & VIDEOTAPE even though I liked her character at the same time for very different reasons. She's the only thing that I prefer to remember about PRETTY WOMAN and her performance in the little seen QUIGLEY DOWN UNDER is heartbreakingly moving. She's an actress that rocks and her voice is another one of those fine assets that just melts you.
Angelina Jolie
Here's the ringer. She's so blown out of proportion at the point in her life that I'm writing this that most people forget that she started off her career (and the introduction of her personal life to the tabloids) as a certifiable nutjob. Angie was the chick that you wanted to take home and nail but soon found out was stalking you outside of your workplace. Then when you tried to get rid of her, she'd firebomb your car. Crazy bad. Now she's nothing but a breeding factory and the second coming of Mia Farrow adoption practices. I'm torn if that still makes her hot or not.
