There are days when I feel like I could type "Blah Blah Blah" in these portions of the posts and no one would notice and other days when I feel scrutinized. I can't imagine the level that the MILFs of the celebrity world must feel. As a female in the business, there's a pressure to look good. As a mom in society, there's the pressure to not be a f*ck-up. How do these women manage to work, be great moms and still look as good as they do? I dunno. Blah blah blah?
The heavyweight of the MILFs as far as I'm concerned. I don't care if Salma managed to meet her biological deadline and have a billionaire's baby before having to resort to the other trendy baby-making habits of Hollywood, or Angelina popping out babies while the ink's still dry on adoption papers, it's Demi Moore who married quick, loved hard, made 3 daughters with Bruce Willis, left Hollywood, rejoined Hollywood, did it all. As my friend Andru would say, BOOM. No one else comes close to harnessing the MILF reins.
One might say that Diane Lane comes close. She's managed to be a child actress, a young adult actress and now a mature actress who actually commands more money and attention in her latter years. She quietly married another actor (The Highlander!!) and had a daughter with him. While she gives interviews, she does talk about her mothering technique, but she keeps her child and her private life very sleekly guarded. She'll always be Cherry to me.
Here's my casual throw in. I had complaints that Carpenter wasn't included in the Buffy Battle but that was mainly because she would have won by a rather unfair landslide. And let's face it, Cordelia Chase was a bitch on that show and didn't really make a dent on most audiences until she was on "Angel." So I decided to include her as a hot MILF because she did have a kid (oh, and her divorce from ex Damian Hardy was finalized just last year, so there's hope!), continued to work and even posed in Playboy after having aforementioned kid. So... yeah.
Blah blah blah... Who's your fave of My Favorite MILFs? (Someone should turn that into a sitcom.)
