I don't care if it's uncool to say that I like "2 Broke Girls." I say it because it's true. The sitcom is loud and brassy and filled full of racial stereotypes and I just can't stop laughing when I watch it. Sure, I have a huge girl crush on its buxom star Kat Dennings but I've grown to appreciate her blonder half on the show, the irrepressibly chipper, Beth Behrs.
The actress is currently featured in the latest issue of Philadelphia Style magazine, where she talks about the chemistry she has with Kat as well as her tribulations in getting cast on the popular show. "I was auditioning for pilots and I would get close, but I never booked them. So when the pilot for '2 Broke Girls' came through, I figured I would lose out. It was a long process. I had to come back and audition seven times for this role – but once Kat and I started reading together, we knew." You can read more of the interview in the magazine, on newsstands now.
