I'm not sure why these pics of Irina Shayk are so appealing, other than the fact that it's Irina and she's hot. I mean, you can get the same sort of thing in any number of different magazines any time you want, all with professional lighting and top notch photography. So why do pics of Irina frolicking on some Miami beach, snapped by paparazzi mean anything? Perhaps it's because this is supposedly a candid moment. No special make up, no light reflectors or tripods or any of that. This is the photographic equivalent of shooting from the hip, yet look at her - she's still gorgeous and flawless. Sometimes it's difficult to believe that the women you see in your SI Swimsuit spreads and the like are actual living, breathing humans. They're perfect to the point of being CGI in those things. Still, there she is, just as exquisitely formed as she is in any magazine spread she's done. Sometimes the illusion becomes real. Her friend's not bad either.
