I don't honestly know what could be so important about shoes that they would garner not only a first annual Footwear News Achievement Awards let alone the 24th annual one held at the MOMA in New York last night. But I guess if you're named Vogue's best dressed famous chick of the year, you've got to show up for it.
Blake Lively brought her fine self to the festivities, although in the dress she was wearing it appeared as if she wanted to downplay all of her more famous assets so that perhaps people could pay attention to her feet? She was the date of designer Christian Louboutin, who recently created a shoe called the "Blake" after her. Not that I should know this. I really shouldn't know this. Just forget that I let it slip that I know this.
