Has it really been two years? The second-coming of what was supposed to be Hollywood's terminally beautiful couple (the tabloids were smart not to pin their hopes on them after being let down by Brad and Jen), Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson were hitched back in September of 2008, making me feel as if I've been treading through sludge for the past 24+ months since I felt like they'd just wed last weekend. But when they made it official doesn't matter since they're officially split up. Their mutual announcement: "After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.“
TMZ was the first to report that Mr. Jordan and Ms. Widow are no longer bumping the beautifuls, although little more is known about the situation beyond that. The couple have been notoriously private with their romance and marriage, shunning appearing together for any publicity events. I couldn't find any good pictures of the two together that didn't involve dark sunglasses, men's hats or the running from random paparazzi.
Reynolds was formerly engaged to another Canadian, Alanis Morissette and ScarJo was previously linked to actor Josh Hartnett. The two have 8 year age difference between them and had been rumoured to have a difference of opinion over when and if they were going to have kids.
