While Gemma Arterton was the winner of last week's Battle, an outcome that I'd predicted, it sure was nice to see some love for Imogen to the degree that it was voiced. It's nice to not be alone in something. Which is how I go into introducing this week's Battle, the one where we realize that Channing Tatum just cannot be alone in a movie. He's always in lurve with someone, a very good looking group of someones.
Tatum is the dude willing to keep doing Nicholas Sparks movies because Ryan Gosling has more pride than to bother with more than just the best one. Luckily for Chan he gets hooked up with the (just prior to getting too skinny) Amanda Seyfried in DEAR JOHN. I'll be honest, I haven't seen the movie. I also haven't put my hand on a hot stove because I know the results will be equally as bad.
He liked it, so he put a ring on it. After starring in the first STEP UP movie together, Dewan became Chan's main squeeze up to and including a marriage and a kid so far. Jenna will always be my favorite thing that Tatum has ever done.
THE VOW is basically DEAR JOHN but with Rachel McAdams instead, right? From here on out every Nicholas Sparks movie should probably only have Channing and Rachel in it, the frequent players in his pulp romantic world. Still, if I have a chance to put McAdams in a Battle, I'll do it.
Which Channing Tatum co-star would you most like to step up to do: Amanda, Jenna or Rachel?-span>
