Charlize Theron, but I'm still glad to have them anyway. And to the people who have been naming their baby daughters Charlize recently (the trend in the name is constantly rising), do you even know its origin? Charlize is the English/French feminine version of the name Charles (more commonly spelled Charlise in the female form), which was Theron's father's name. But the name is an offshoot of the Germanic term
karl, which means "free man." HOWEVER... Charlize is also the French, German, Dutch, English, and Scandinavian version of Charlotte. And that's a whole lot of stuff that you probably didn't care to skim over.
