The first time I encountered Cindy Crawford anywhere was in a George Michael video way back in 1990. She was a young, 24-year old model just starting to get some attention outside of the modeling field. She quickly became a phenomenon throughout most of the '90s thanks to countless TV, magazine, and movie gigs that pretty much made her a daily presence in most people's lives. Then she got married, had some kids, and sort of faded away like most models do once the glamor and glitz start to get tiresome. I figured we wouldn't really hear much from her again.
So it was not without a certain degree of shock to find out that Cindy appears to have invented a time machine back at the height of her career, and is routinely traveling forward into our time to do photo spreads for magazines like this one, called Futureclaw. Clearly this is some kind of propagandist literature created by packs of time traveling super models who are plotting to destabilize the very fabric of time, lest they and their beauty fall victim to its ravages. I fully expect the entire space-time continuum to begin collapsing any day now thanks to these temporal interlopers. Enjoy what little time you have left before reality begins to crystallize and shatter all around you.
