Dame Helen Mirren on the set of Arthur!

I'm gonna be honest here for a second and state that I have never seen the original ARTHUR movie that was released in 1981. I've heard from tons of people on how funny it is but I've never gotten around to renting it. With news of the remake coming next year though, I just might have to seek it out to see for myself. That's right ladies and gents, the remake train continues ongoing as the story of a drunk, irresponsible young man with no ambitions but heir to a large fortune is being remade for release in 2011. In the remake, we yet again have to watch Russell Brand playing a pathetically rich yet idiotic and drunk character as he's playing Arthur in the film (let the hate flow through the fans on that one). My focus though is on the beautiful Helen Mirren who was spotted on the set recently with Brand. My guess is that she plays his prim and proper mother but I haven't seen the original so what do I know. Enjoy!
