One of the things that I get the biggest kick out of is recognizing my moments of dorkocity in life. About 10 years ago (yes, I vividly remember the time period), I got violent ill with the flu in that manner in which people get sick from the flu every decade or so. I was draped over my beaten up couch, alternating between passing out from the sheer exhaustion of throwing up the water that I was taking sparse sips of and watching "The Wild Thornberrys" because I have a completely deserved fixation on everything that has to do with Tim Curry. (For the record, LEGEND is a totally underappreciated movie.) It was then that I was introduced to Danielle Harris, the star of the latest horror fete from Adam Green, HATCHET II
. Of course, I had no idea at the time that it was Harris doing the voice for Debbie Thornberry, but I always liked Debbie the best. I think it was the whiny, bratty nature of hers. I could relate. And when you put Harris' face to that fun as hell character, it makes for one sensational package.
