I guess I'm not the only one who found Elizabeth Mitchell's
Juliet Burke to be one of the more interesting and ultimately likeable characters on "Lost." It seems that the show's creator, J.J. Abrams loved working with the actress as well and was super happy when she decided to join the cast of his follow-up show, "Revolution." As the cast assembled to talk about the upcoming returning season of the sci-fi show, Abrams was happy to tweet about how great Mitchell was/is, including that she's becoming a "sci-fi queen" and mentioning that it might be due to her "very peculiar tastes!" I haven't gotten sucked into this recent show for one reason - I didn't watch "Lost" until it was well and done off the air, then sat through the ENTIRE 117 episodes in about 2 weeks' time. Suffice it to say, I did NOT have the happy crying reaction that Maude Apatow's
character Sadie did in THIS IS 40. I watched the whole thing because I needed the info and I don't like being that twat who judges pop culture without having dealt with it hands-on. So if this "Revolution" show ends up lasting longer than most have predicted (since there haven't been 1,927 covers of Entertainment Weekly dedicated to it, I'm going to guess it's just not meant to be "Lost" big), I can deal with it. When it's over and the diehards have shut up. But no one better touch the remote when I start watching "The Walking Dead" next month or I'm drop-kicking them into a machete, Michonne-style.
