Normally, I really like me some Emilia Clarke. I even prefer her with her natural brunette hair and more severe look that doesn't come from being a pale dragon queen on "Game of Thrones." But what the f*ck were the people behind Vs magazine thinking when they decided that having Clarke go one millimeter away from being a unibrowed model was a good idea?
I suppose I should clarify that not all of the pictures taken for this spread are awful and that you can clearly see the usual beauty that Emilia puts on display lurking beneath the sharp depth. But damn... I really, really do not like these pictures. While the need to be artsy in a fashion magazine is a strong desire, I would advocate that when you're dealing with a model who's normally an actress, one who's seen in many other capacities other than just a human clothes hanger, you might want to err on the side of caution while dressing her and putting on her makeup.
Again, I'm not saying that photographer Guy Aroch (the dude responsibly for this visual travesty) should be hung up by his ball sac and forced to watch circus midget porn until he understands that less is more... Well, maybe that is what I'm saying.
