Emilie de Ravin goes Noyce on the set of Americana

Aussies do it better. Just think, when you need a beautiful blonde to play a typical American babe, hire Emilie de Ravin for the job. The former "Lost," star was seen looking as cute and all-American as it gets on the set of "Americana," a TV movie currently in production. What I find most interesting about the project is that it's being directed by a pretty impressive Aussie in his own right, Phillip Noyce. While he might not have the kind of name that jumps out and grabs the less superior movie fans, he is the dude who made the incredible DEAD CALM (with another great Aussie, Nicole Kidman) as well as a laundry list of strong titles like CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER, PATRIOT GAMES, THE QUIET AMERICAN and more recently, SALT. (Then again, I might be one of the few people who enjoyed his salacious voyeur flick, SLIVER.) "Americana," includes Ashley Greene in the cast and will follow the life and exploits of a famous fashion designer.
