That's a pretty startling transformation from Emilie de Ravin's usual blonde locks. It's amazing how a different shade of hair completely transforms her. I might not have even recognized her. She's also put on a little weight which makes the difference even more startling. Not that I have a problem with that. I'm just a little uncertain which version of her I prefer. Emilie as Claire on Lost was quite the cutie. She don't look nothing like Claire now. Gonna take a little getting used to. The reason for Emilie's new reddish hair is her show Once Upon a Time, where I guess she plays Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I haven't seen the show, so I don't know anything about what's happening beyond the bit about it being fairy tales come to life or something. It doesn't really sound like my kind of show, but I hear good things. Might be one of those shows I check out years down the line if it proves to be consistent. I can't bear to watch shows when they premiere. I broke that rule recently for Anthony Edwards' show Zero Hour and the damn thing got cancelled. I can't stand that. Watching a TV show regularly is a significant investment of time I could be devoting to other things. So when they cancel them, they're basically wasting my time. Snobs might say that it any time spent on TV is wasted, but I say listening to what snobs have to say about anything is a much worse way to spend your time.
