Considering that she wasn't Oscar nominated for her role in that movie where Anne Hathaway
gets all the attention, I suppose I can understand the tight-lipped, stern expression on Amanda Seyfried's
face. Amy Adams
looked completely comfortable on the red carpet of the 18th Annual Critics Choice Awards, as she should, considering that the list of nominations she's been racking up since JUNEBUG are double the height of her petite & pretty frame. At some point they are really going to need to create an awards show around how well Emily Blunt
can wear the simplest of gowns, dominating the field with her chic, glamourous style. Emmy Rossum
was practically a blur of sequin bobbing in the waves of wonderful gowns, so few of which even my fashion-sense lacking self can agree were far from hideous, a feat in these circumstances. Eva Longoria
and Jaime King
weren't too shabby, but I really am holding out my kissed-a-girl-and-liked-it time for the fabulous (and Oscar nominated - AGAIN!) Jennifer Lawrence
. I don't want to leave out the other big nominee of the night, ZERO DARK THIRTY star Jessica Chastain
and how she played up her delicate skin and brilliant red locks with a shockingly red bejeweled dress. Leslie Mann
was no slouch in that Pepto-pink number she was rocking like the 40's just won't stop and as classy and French of a treat as she always is, Marion Cotillard
climbed right on into a splashy floral, sequined number. We're all winners here, folks.
