Emma Stone reveals her Gwen Stacy blonde hair for SPIDER-MAN

12.06.2010by: Seth Gecko

Like the rest of the world pretty much, I'm not that enthusiastic about a reboot to the SPIDER-MAN films and cause it just doesn't make any sense. As many others have pointed out already, the reboot is coming WAY too soon after the third Sam Raimi directed film plus the fact that the first trilogy is a pretty amazing set of films. The third film was a bit of stumble with the ten thousand villains all over the place but it was still a very solid and fun flick. Maybe the studio just thought Tobey Maguire was getting too old or maybe they realized that Kirsten Dunst torpedoed the movies whenever she appeared...no one can really be sure.

Either way though, the movie is happening and we can only hope for the best. One bit of news that the fans definitely love though is that the stunning/feisty Emma Stone will be playing the famous Gwen Stacy in the reboot and filming will commence soon which means that she was going to be spotted sooner or later with blonde hair for the part. Well she has been seen as of this weekend at an awards event and in this reporters opinion...I don't like it. I'm sorry gents but I think the blonde hair has severely crippled her stunning looks much like it does every time Angelina Jolie dons it. She doesn't look terrible and I'm sure her hairstyle will be different but there's no question that she was destined to remain a smokin' hot redhead. So check out the photos below and give us your two cents.

Extra Tidbit: Why the hell couldn't Emma play Mary-Jane? Seriously?

Damn!!... She makes a sexy blonde! And I think she looks just like a comic book hottie.

... yeah, but I'm still not seeing the movie, though.

I know the rules on this site prohibit people from purposefully flaming the contributors for no reason. That being said, I think I need to point out the ridiculousness of a joblo writer being so uninformed, intentional or otherwise.

Maybe you are right; maybe the world doesn't need a new Spidey so soon after the Raimi trilogy, maybe this is the biggest cash grab in the history of Hollywood, and maybe this will be such an affront to all that is holy that it will ensure the rapture happens in

Or maybe Sony just wants to protect their MULTI BILLION dollar investment. I mean, it is a recession after all.
When Disney purchased Marvel the rights to the comics and the movies came along too. The great thing with this deal was the inclusion of the rights that Marvel had previously sold.
This means that if any studio that owns a Marvel property, such as FOX, Sony, and Lionsgate do not have those properties in some phase of production by an obligatory date, the rights revert back to Marvel and Disney.
Thatís why we have more new versions of all the properties in the mix right now. The Matthew Vaughn Xmen, Neveldine and Taylor tackling Ghost Rider, and a new Fantastic Four coming soonÖ
These are all facts reported by your very own site and a host of others.
But letís look at this from another perspective.
We have an interesting young director in Marc Webb
An interesting youngish titular hero in Andrew Garfield
An interesting and hot female lead in Emma Stone
Not to mention
Sally Field
Martin Sheen
Rhys Ifans
And Dennis Leary
How could you not be even the slightest bit interested just based on cast alone? You do like movies, right?

Iím just sayin you should do a little homework before you go on some pissy little fanboy rant next time.

Lovely

She looks great with blonde hair, red is loads better but for the role she's playing, i'd go for her instead of Mary-Jane at this point. Gotta say with that blonde hair and the thick eyeliner, shows how stunning her eyes are.

Not bad at all

While i will agree with the nay sayers that red hair is 1000 times hotter then blonde she's definitely looking the part of Gwen. The eyes are spot on.

She is naturally a blonde but I agree with you guys that she is smokin' hot as a redhead. The blonde is good too though. Hell, she could shave her head and I'd still find her attractive.

I dig the look.

As for the Raimi films, I don't think they're all that great. I'd only consider SM2 to be really good and even great. SM1 was ok but nothing special. SM3 was shit. I'm glad Raimi's left the franchise behind and I'm looknig forward to Marc Webb's Entry. Stone if nothing else will be a great upgrade over Dunst, who was irritating as hell by the time SM3 came.

P.S. I am not a Raimi Hater. He just does much better stuff when he steps away from the big blockbuster fare and

Not feeling it

She's good looking no matter what, but she doesn't stand out to me as a blonde. As a red head, however, she's above and beyond attractive.

Raimi's movies are so overrated

The first 30 minutes of Part 1 and most of Part 2 are all that is watchable out of the three films. Marc Webb is a better director than Raimi, and so far, his core cast is more talented. How can this not be better than Raimi's films???

First of all, only Spider-man 2 was good. the other 2 were crap, and 1 for 3 isn't a good batting average. So the reboot is justified; had the original trilogy been made of 3 good films, then the reboot wouldn't be necessary. Also, MJ won't be in the movie- get over it.
