While YOUR SISTER'S SISTER looks awesome for the cast alone, I highly doubt that it will have the muscle it needs to get past the other familial-named release of next week, the agonizing looking THAT'S MY BOY. Taking the concept that made the American nation turn on its head (think Mary Kay & Villi, those wacky kids who were teacher and 13-year old student knocking boots and getting knocked up) and flip it into a crude Adam Sandler comedy where even the comedian himself looks embarrassed to be seen at the premiere. Eva Amurri (Martino) is the younger version of the schoolmarm who diddles one of her students, has a kid by him, and whose older incarnation shows up later in the flick played by her real-life mom, Susan Sarandon. Andy Samberg was the obvious choice for the grown-up Sandler offspring. The whole thing makes me uncomfortable. Other than the involvement of Robbie Van Winkle, because I'm nostalgic for Vanilla Ice like that.
