While filming THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED Gemma Arterton had the misfortune to be punched for real by co-star Eddie Marsan while filming a violent scene that involved Gemma as the titular Alice bound to a bed (let me upload that thought into my brain... ok done).
Gemma told the anecdote to Nylon Guys magazine concluding that it was all an accident... sure it was.
"Eddie was sitting on top of me, fists flailing... and then Eddie punched me, actually made contact. He bloodied my nose. If I looked terrified after that, it's because I was. It hurt ... I was really scared he would hit me again, by accident of course. Eddie is a lovely man. He doesn't like hitting women in real life."
Hey Eddie, I hope you didn't ruin Ms. Arterton's face or nutin' cuz if you did I'm gonna track yous and your family down and you'll wish you never decided to be an actor. Watch yourself man.

And for anyone that says they're gonna do something about it...yea right. Calm down.
