I never once believed any of the advertisements that Anna Nicole Smith did for TrimSpa, but I did love listening to that silly tart tell us it was "TrimSpa, baby!" (On a sadder note, the long running battle over her cut of her billionaire dead husband's estate came to a final end last week, completely and totally cutting her and any of her descendants out of his money.) But here we have Kim Kardashian hawking something called "Quick Trim" which I certainly hope isn't promising a generation of women the curves that she has. In fact, I'm a little baffled at why she's a spokeswoman for a weight loss supplement considering that the debate is always about her having a huge ass and cottage cheese thighs whenever the evil bloggers get a hold of the more unflattering pictures. But whatever... the weight loss industry is becoming richer than the tobacco industry these days, so I can understand why this more appealing way of making money is in the cards for the pseudo celebs.
