I'm not posting images of Gillian Jacobs instead of Alison Brie because I prefer her better (even though I do, which you all already know) but because so far there's only images of Jacobs at 2014's San Diego Comic Con, where the panel for "Community" and its transition from NBC to online episodes.
The abbreviated version of the cast were on hand along with executive producer Dan Harmon to talk about the future of the fan favorite show. While the trend to have canceled fan favorites appear online, they're not planning on turning the sitcom into a binge obsession, similar to popular NetFlix series "Orange is the New Black," which offered up its second season in its entirety once it was finished filming.
"We will continue to make the show weekly, it's not going to be one of those all-at-once models, so in some ways people will continue to watch the show as they've always watched it," Harmon revealed. "My philosophy says make the same show, and let the lack of boundaries make themselves felt, rather than saying 'we can make this episode 49 minutes long and nothing but the F word'." Not sure how you guys are going to take that (perhaps an online petition to get Brie topless?) but there it is.
