Ah, Scarlett Johansson. Who else would be worthy of stealing your attention away from turkey, peach cobbler, and gallons of gravy on Thanksgiving day? For Scarlett, today is about more than stuffing your face and watching "Twilight Zone" reruns, for today our cat-suited hero turns 28-years-old. As a gift to the luscious Johansson, I'm refraining from calling her "ScarJo", because like most nicknames given to celebs by their fans, she can't stand it. I feel like I watched this hottie grow up, from early adulthood (GHOST WORLD, EIGHT-LEGGED FREAKS, LOST IN TRANSLATION) into the product of my depraved fantasies (THE PRESTIGE, THE SPIRIT, IRON MAN 2). The first time she stole this writer's heart was with her upskirt introduction in THE PERFECT SCORE, in which she starred alongside Chris Evans. Who'da thunk those two would reunite onscreen eight years later for THE AVENGERS of all things? Yes, Scarlett's portrayal of the Black Widow will probably follow her (closely, from behind) for the rest of her life, but she's proven to be capable of so much more. We'll see how well she does portraying another classic hottie, Janet Leigh, with the release of HITCHCOCK this weekend. For now, let's give thanks to this acrobatic babe and take a look back at the history of her outstanding achievements in hotness. Happy Birthday, Scarlett Johansson! And Happy Thanksgiving, all!
