Hitting newsstands soon, an image of Katherine Heigl on the cover of Entertainment Weekly looking oddly a lot like Winona Ryder and that time she was apologizing for the shoplifting stunt. Because of the rumours swirling around her departure from the show which made her a household name amongst the dumb female demographic who watch that shit, Heigl is stepping forward to tell everyone that it was amicable, despite the possible lingering feelings that the writing staff who she was dismissive of a couple years back might be harbouring against her.
Heigl says, “I am done. We just finalized our agreement. Everyone had been working really hard to find an amicable and gracious way of letting go and moving on. It’s sad but it’s what I wanted. I started a family and it changed everything for me. It changed my desire to work full-time. I know I’m disappointing the fans. I just had to make a choice. I hope I made the right one.”
I think it's cool that she's going to stop with the show so that she can concentrate on her new family. Now... how to get her to stop making the lame rom-coms as well? Because I hate it when the TV chicks claim that quitting their shows gives them all this free time to be with their families and then they go and spend it doing movie work. Your thoughts?
