Hollywood Gossip | Hey girl... Ryan Gosling is all meme for you

It's my birthday. Tonight I should be going to the New Beverly for the midnight showing of SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD. Is was kismet, having the anniversary of my birth coincide with one of my favorite hobbies to partake in (once a month the cinema shows the movie at midnight to a crowd of uber fans - I've seen in there twice, both times director Edgar Wright showed up and did great Q&As along with co-writers and stars from the flick - and it's an experience that shouldn't be passed up if you're ever in the L.A. area) but because of circumstances outside of my control, or perhaps just because I'm growing up and being all responsible and shit, I had to cancel those plans.

So I'm disappointed. Heartbroken but not nearly to the extent that I am over Ryan Gosling getting passed up for a Best Actor Oscar nom for DRIVE. (Don't get me started on Albert Brooks not getting a supporting nod...) But I have the memes from Hamilton Ryan Gosling, the blog started on Tumblr by Chris Farias which has been sweeping Facebook fame lately. The idea has been done similarly before, like with the F*ck Yeah! Ryan Gosling blog. You take the concept of Ryan Gosling being your boyfriend and starting every statement with "Hey girl..." Whatever the case, I'm settling. You're settling. Ryan Gosling is unsettlingly gorgeous. I need a towel.
