Everyone knows someone who has "one of those faces." The kind of person who is vague enough that you don't remember their name until the fifth or sixth time that you're in similar company but just slightly remarkable that their face jogs a recollection. If you don't have one of those friends, well... you know what they say about that.

I haven't seen anything that Ashley Bell has been in because I haven't watched THE LAST EXORCISM. No, wait... that's not true. When I check her IMDB resume, I discover that she had a reoccurring role on "The United States of Tara," and there's this fine mist of a memory there. I can just... about... reach... it....
More interesting about Ashley Bell is Bell's background. The only child of two of the most popular voice over stars (dad is Michael Bell, who has been the voice of many "Rugrats" characters including Chaz Finster and Drew Pickles, although his resume spans everything from "Darkwing Duck" to "Gargoyles" to the original TV version of "Transformers" - and mom Victoria Carroll, one of the founders of The Groundlings comedy troupe who has also been a regular on many shows in flesh and voice), Bell studied at Cambridge and has been getting voice over roles for a number of years. It just wasn't until THE LAST EXORCISM and now this weekend's new release, THE LAST EXORCISM PART II that Ashley started making mini-waves in movies.
Tell me if you don't see what I see - a wee bit of a young Elizabeth Perkins? While Ashley looks younger, she'll being turning 29-years old this year and yet... she still doesn't exude the confidence that Perkins has had since a younger age. I will go out and say that Bell is cute, but far from being a total Hottie. She's just... one of those faces.
