I'm no Gleek. If anything, you'd be more likely to see me post a status update reading "Kids INC >>> Glee" than caving to the pressure from the rainbow side of the fence declaring that I'm a hater if I don't worship the show. I buck the trends, yo. In fact, I'm actually pumped to go check out I AM NUMBER FOUR even though I haven't read the source material and should be in a lower age demographic to justify my interest in the flick. But some things are more complicated than they appear at first glance, right?
Dianna Agron
The blonde at the center of the "Glee" revolution, Agron is vaguely a fixture in my memory from my heated (and delayed) obsession with "Veronica Mars," having appeared a few times in a small reoccurring role. I also have slight recollection of her appearing on "Heroes" but that happened after I stopped devoting my full attention to the show. For someone who has been a fringe fixture, her star is blowing up with that minuscule foundation. A major case of "I don't know why I like her, I just do."
As petite and polished as she comes off on the red carpets, there's a hint of feisty bad girl under those bobby socks. I'm not referring to the racy spread she did with "Glee" co-star Lea Michele. I'm pointing out that with all the skin they revealed in those photos, I zeroed in more on that scripted tattoo she's got going on along her ribcage. Yes, I know that most young people these days have a penchant for getting words etched permanently into their epidermis but with all of the exposure she's gotten, I still didn't have her pegged for being that kind of gal. And I dig that she is.
She can be glam and she can be glamishly-gritty. She is also one of the most casually beautiful girls I've seen in recent years. She doesn't need much of anything to look radiant, even though that extra layer makes her pop with vibrancy. Dianna is one of the big reasons why I'm into seeing that teeny-bopper sci-fi flick (Timothy Olyphant is the f*cking man as well) because I honestly could stare at that face for an hour and a half even if it were in a crappy film. Cute, beautiful, sexy... hot. I like Ms. Agron lots.
