Let's see... this week features a couple of different badasses kicking, um, well, ass. The coolest part about this is that those doing the asskicking are both women. One is a for-show, CGI-enhanced killer babe while the other is a legit, bare-knuckled brawler doing big screen, lead role duty in HAYWIRE. Have to say, I'm more interested in the latter.

Gina Carano

As much as I love MMA style fighting, I'm really not familiar with Gina Carano's career pre-Soderbergh. I've been searching through pictures of her and she varies from looking girlie in candid shots to manly in staged shots, so it's crazy trying to get a bead on her hotness from just that.

One thing is for sure in my mind: Carano's body is as crazy, sexy slick as Ryan Gosling's was for me in (insert the name of any movie Gosling did in 2011). She has those, "I've killed all of my body fat so I needed fake bags of goo in my chest to make me look more feminine" implants, but they're not obscene or out of proportion for her body. I like the muscular look. I want to find a place to buy a pill or a shake or an inhaler to make me look that way without doing the actual work.

Gina cleans up well but not perfectly. There is a huge air of discomfort about her when she is in heels and fancy dresses for the red carpet. She doesn't appear to be that kind of girl and it shows through the paint. I don't like seeing any person be forced into some pre-fab ideal of beauty. But in my mind, is Gina Carano hot? Ab-so-f*cking-lutely.

I agree, she she seems like a workout sweats/t-shirt & jeans kinda girl which is why she looks uncomfortable in skirts and heels. And yes, she does give off a "Do you have what it takes, Boy?" vibe that's intimidating and sexy at the same time.

I should point out that it's only speculation that she has implants based on a few pics from an earlier phase of her career when she was a lot less top heavy. Truth of the matter is she started out in MMA chubby and has a hard time cutting weight, which is why her cup size is always fluctuating. Plus implants are kind of dangerous thing to have in combat sports.

I'll admit that I watched American Gladiators and enjoyed it. one big reason I enjoyed it was because of the smoking hot female gladiator known as Crush. AKA Gina Carano. Can't wait till she really breaks out in movies.
