There's a line in RAISING ARIZONA which I wish had applied to Snooki and her recent delivery of the child of the Apocalypse, "Biology and the prejudices of others conspired to keep us childless." In 2006, at the age of 47, this week's Hot or Not feature gave birth to twins. She has since moved on to starring in this week's release, NEVER BACK DOWN to prove that there's just no stopping her.
Holly Hunter

I don't think there was ever a time when I found myself thinking that Holly Hunter was an aesthetically beautiful woman. I liked the fire in her eyes, the drama in her delivery and the grace with which she moved through some of the hardest scenes I've watched in movies over the years. RAISING ARIZONA might have been one of those twisted comedies that the Cohns' are known for, but it was heartbreaking just the same to witness the snot-filled sobbing that H.I. went through when she found out the only thing she really wanted was something she wasn't going to have.

Hunter is now 54-years old and I made sure that the images I chose for this column reflected that age. Do you remember growing up thinking that by the time you were in your 50's you were going to be some dried out, wrinkled up old fart? Grandkids destroying your house because your kids needed a sitter at the last moment so they could go watch some hipster band and now you're stuck being free daycare? I'm thinking that Hunter might not have gotten the memo on that one.

Physically she's one of those stringy, ropy looking women like Madonna. Her face has moments of beauty and moments of terrifying natural ugliness. But if you were to ask me which actress over all of the actresses who have been in movies that I've been watching since I was a small child and would still watch everything they did today (save those preachy dramas on TNT), it'd be Holly. She's sexy in her own way. She's inspirational and one of the best examples of how a woman in Hollywood might have to fight a little harder when they're not the most beautiful choice, but when you have talent oozing out of you to the degree that she does, it's impossible to ignore.
What do you think of Holly Hunter?
