Imagine one of those old feminine hygiene commercials where the mother and daughter are walking along on the beach and the daughter confides that she's not feeling all that fresh. Except, instead of the mother and daughter, it's me and you guys. And instead of the beach, it's the internet. And instead of me bitching about the nature of my cootch, I'm letting you know that I'm not feeling all that... creative... today. So, here's an easy hot or not. Or not. You decide.
I don't know why it is that I thought Maggie Grace had a larger film and/or television resume. There's something about her face which is so traditionally Hollywood in that sense of "Get me a good looking blonde who's pretty but not gorgeous." I vaguely remember her being on "Oliver Beene," only because my mom's cousin was a cinematographer for the show, but I don't remember her well enough from that.
And from the little glimpses that I watched here and there of "Lost," I thought she was interesting but cast as one of those characters who is meant to irritate the viewers. That back-stabbing female who's too prissy to make it on the beach. Not that I've watched even a full episode of the show or know that's what they did with her, it was just the feeling that I got.
The part about Maggie Grace that got under my skin was when I watched her play the 17 (or was it 16?) year old daughter of Liam Neeson in TAKEN. I had to look up her age and figure out just how far they'd stretched that fib. Turns out Grace will be 26 on September 21st of this year. So why play a teenager? So that they can age her for the proposed sequel? I don't know. I do know that I'd like to see her do more, as she has an almost Leslie Bibb quality about her but seems to be less grating and more adaptable in the acting department. Plus... those sure are some damn nice gams of hers.
Your turn... Maggie Grace, hot or not?
