Marion Cotillard

She's that French chick who owned at the 2007 Oscars, the year back when movies were good and foreigners were showing us up on own home field. I hadn't heard of her before then, as I don't think many of us had, but damn... she just plain OWNED. There was no denying that Cotillard came in and swept everyone off their feet.

Overlooked in THE GOOD YEAR when she showed up with Russell Crowe (haven't seen it, so I can't judge), the hottie who will turn 34 on September 30th this year is proving that your twenties are for honing your skill. Making face time with Johnny Depp this year as well as later in the year with another Oscar winner, D.D. Lewis in NINE, I look forward to giving Marion my full attention from now on.

Then there's just the simple Natural Breasts Factor which deem her an automatic winner in the game of life. Marion Cotillard is the epitome of French beauty. She's natural and she makes it all seem so effortless.

Don't get me started on how much I hate the oscars

I think the academy should have a separate category for "best imitation of a real life celebrity" because they eat that shit up. I saw that movie she won an oscar for and her performance was nothing special, just the same over-the-top bug eyed acting that usually wins awards.

Ellen Page was a million times better in Juno in my opinion. And she's much hotter than Cotillard too.

I saw A Good Year and hated it. And a few of her French movies and hated them too. She looks awful in the Public Enemies trailer but I haven't seen that movie yet.

I usually vote "hot" in the hot or not articles so I'm enjoying the opportunity to be negative. No offense to Cherry though if she thinks she's hot.

There is another French actress who I think is A LOT hotter and does not get enough awards season attention, Audrey Tautou. Why wasn't she nominated for best actress for Amelie?

And as for foreigners impressing people at the academy awards, I think the best nominated performance in recent memory by a foreigner was Catalina Sandino Moreno in Maria Full of Grace. And of course, she lost to Hilary Swank who gave an over-the-top bug eyed performance in Million Dollar Baby.
