This show they call "Smash," was something I thought was solely a vehicle for the beauty, grace and talent that is Katharine McPhee. Turns out, the lovely brunette has some ambitious blonde competition on the show with her. She's been kicking around the fringe of Hollywood for some time now and I bring her up mainly because one of my friends' moms was heralding how great she is on the show and how well she can sing. So this is our Hot or Not selection of the week, fellas (and ladies).
Here are some basics on Megan Hilty. She's 32 years old, was born in Bellevue, Washington (I've been there, so I'm already sympathizing with the girl), she actually graduated Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama in 2004 with her Bachelors degree in Theater, so she's kinda smart in the band geek type of way. In 2005, Megan was cast as Glinda, the good witch in the Broadway smash hit, "Wicked." So, she's got chops.
The problem is that I'm not very familiar with her chops. I follow John Ross Bowie (Kripke from "The Big Bang Theory," or the maniacal dentist from SEX DRIVE, if you prefer) and he's a huge fan of the show, tweeting about it constantly. So I know some jokingly funny stuff about it. I've heard that Megan tends to subtly outshine Katharine, but seeing as how A) I haven't watched the show and B) I have a superior girl crush on McPhee, I can't attest to any of the assertions.
So let me go on looks alone. She's an average looking blonde chick that, from a Californian like me, looks exactly like 65% of the population that I could throw a rock in any direction and hit. She's got a well-rounded frame that suggests she's curvy but not amply so and frankly, when women have a little meat on their bones, their voices tend to be deeper, richer, meatier as well. So I am guesstimating that. I am going to go with a temporary hot vote and research more into her later.
What do you think of Megan Hilty?
