Let me tell you something. I'm kinda in the old realm. I'm not an X'er, I'm not a "Millennial." I remember "Where's the Beef?" just as well as I recall "Hey Arnold!" and that sick obsession the unibrowed blonde girl had for the football headed neighbor of hers. So picture this: I can remember when Robert Downey Jr was young. As in, I watched movies like WEIRD SCIENCE and JOHNNY BE GOOD back when they got released on VHS tapes. He was a weird cute then. I would have never guessed after all his mid-life drug bullshit that he'd turn out to be an extremely attractive, muscular and sexy older dude. So I wanna tell the drugs "Thank You," I guess. I think that's probably where I'm going with this week's Hot or Not selection.
Fuck what you Alison Brie lovers have to say about her, I want you to look at all of her pictures and admit that she's got a face which is really rather off. Her features are not symmetrical. She can look great to fugly depending on the light. (Like you read what I write or would even give yourself the opportunity to discover that your opinion is wrong). Well, this current season it's Brie, but back in the late 1990's and into the early 2000's before she hit her RDJ pothole, Lyonne was the Brie of the day. She was quirky, foul-mouthed, talked sexy in that way which made you KNOW she KNEW what she was talking about. She wasn't gorgeous, but you just couldn't look away.
I don't want to get into her crazy past in terms of the drug use. I want to point out that even when she was a wreck, she was still getting hired by good directors who know exactly what to do with her talent. Natasha managed to never be a Lindsay or an Amanda. She was the geek-chic girl with the nice rack and the fearlessness to star in movies like BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER (f*cking classic in its own rite). The minute I see her pop up in a movie, I'm always excited. She tickles the part of my brain which recognizes a talent that is natural, not nurtured.
Much like Robert Downey Jr, I'm saying this: I think Natasha looks gorgeous as an adult. I love her grown-up self. I admire that she battled her demons. I would bid high in an auction to hang out with her just to be in her presence. For me, she is a kind of hot that illuminates. Her beauty is vibration, musical. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
What do you think of Natasha Lyonne?
